Description
4/25/23 – This is an original M40 German Army helmet with a single exterior decal. The decal is excellent and crisp with minimal wear and about 98% intact. the helmet exterior has typical patina and mild scuffing / surface paint loss. There are no dents in the shell. The interior shell is maker and size stamped, “SE 62”. The back brim is lot numbered, “1334”. The leather liner is in great condition with typical, mild surface wear and light scuffing around the rounded brim. There’s a size “55” ink stamp on the liner. The liner band appears original and in great condition as well.
