12/10/25 – This is a Martially-marked Colt Single Action Army revolver from 1874. Chambered in .45 Caliber with a 7.5″ barrel. It is mismatched with a “US” Property marking on the frame with early “A” Ainsworth proofs on the grip straps and cylinder. Added number on the butt of the frame. The finish of gun has been completely restored and refinished. There is very little wear, just some minor thinning and the ejector rod tube. Fitted with excellent smooth wood grips – on cartouches. The bore has good rifling with very light frosting throughout.
