Description
2/5/24 – This is an excellent example of an Arisaka Type 99 issued to the Japanese military during WW2. All matching with a completely intact Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. It comes with an original monopod and a matching-numbered dust cover. It also has the original cleaning rod and anti-aircraft sights. The gun itself has retained roughly 60% of its original finish. There is obvious finish loss throughout, some minor spotty oxidation on the barrel, and pin-pricking on the floor plate. The wood furniture is pretty nice overall, but there is one gouge on the left side of the butt stock. Minty bore.
