06/17/26 – For sale is an Australian Lithgow No1 Mk3 Lee Enfield chambered in .303 British made in 1917. The rifle shows heavy wear with the enamel finish mostly worn away. Mostly, bare metal is exposed throughout the rifle. The surface of the stock had been sanded, and there was a what looks to be “L78” rack number painted to the buttstock. The bore is bright with strong rifling. There is some wear and oxidation at the muzzle. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, rear sight, forestock, and nose cap. Import mark on the left side of the receiver.
