7/28/25 – This is an excellent, near mint condition example of a K98 bayonet with matching scabbard and frog. The bayonet was produced by Scabbard- Berg & Co, Solingen-Ohligs and is stamped with “6645” which is the same serial number as the scabbard. There is also an “a” on the side of the bayonet with the serial number. The reverse side of the blade is stamped “43agv” which symbolizes the bayonet was produced in 1943 by Berg & Co, Solingen-Ohligs. This bayonet also comes with the leather frog.
