05/11/26 – For sale is a K98k made by Mauser in 1941. The rifle shows heavy wear with the metal worn to a bare finish. There are dotting of surface oxidation throughout the barrel and receiver. The stock is clean and surface was lightly sanded. There is a 2″ crack behind the tang. There are also some splits in the wood grains on the left side behind the rear barrel band and one on the right side. The bore is bright with good rifling. The surface is starting to frost over towards the muzzle and some wear to the rifling. The rifle is bolt mismatched.
