6/11/24 – This is a Japanese MGC 68 Replica / Model MP40 Submachine Gun. This is a non-firing model gun with functional folding stock, charging handle, push-button magazine release, and takedown knob. This replica functions very similarly to the authentic MP40’s without being able to fire. The stock and handle grips are plastic, and in great condition. The metal retains most of the original finish with some handling and high edge wear from age. The top of the receiver is marked, “MP40 / mgc68”. There is no magazine included, but a reproduction MP40 leather sling is attached and included, as shown. These make a great place holder and are collectible in their own right.
