7/26/23 – This is an all matching and original Imperial Army Mauser C96 Broomhandle rig from 1916.The pistol has all matching numbers, including the original grips, and comes with the original, matching stock!The pistol is in great shape aside from the finish loss along the barrel that occurs from rubbing against the inside of the stock.Military acceptance mark on right side of receiver. Minor high edge wear otherwise.Bore has strong rifling but minor frost in the grooves.The grips have no cracks or chips.The stock is also Imperial Army marked and has the matching last three digits of the serial number on the attaching iron.No chips or cracks, just standard handling wear for a 100+ year old stock.The rig also includes an original harness and cleaning rod.The harness is also 1916 dated but does show considerable wear and cracking, with a hole in the cleaning rod pouch.
