9/25/24 – This is a mint condition M1916 holster for the M1911A1 pistol. This holster is a high-end example with light brown leather that’s crisp and clean throughout. Some mild surface discoloration on the exterior leather as shown, and mild use wear evident on the interior leather. The leather has normal pliability as well. Excellent, tight stitching throughout. Stamped on the back leather with a crisp maker and date stamp. Beautiful, original blued finish on the closure knob and belt hooks, which is seldom seen on examples today.
