Description
7/23/24 – This is a very rare Walther PP, one of only 1,200 made as part of a Danish Police contract in 1940. The factory lanyard loop is one indicator, and the frame is marked ‘Rplt. Nr. 3649’ to denote the Danish issue. It comes with a period-correct box that is matching-numbered, but the bottom portion of the label (on the side panel, with the serial number) was printed later to match the gun. It also comes with a period-correct owners manual, spare magazine, and cleaning tin (with original oiler bottom and rag). The gun itself is mint and has retained essentially all of its high polish finish. Fitted with excellent black bakelite grips. The bore is mostly shiny with strong rifling, but there is some very light pin-pricking in the grooves here and there.
