Description
2/11/23 – This is a beautiful, near-mint 1906 DWM American Eagle Luger. The pistol is all matching with 98-99% blue remaining.Just a little bit of edge wear on the sideplate and bottom of the front strap. Excellent straw on the small parts.Grips show minor handling wear, mainly on the right panel. The left panel is not numbered, and the right panel is numbered but mismatched to the gun.The pistol comes with a WWI era military magazine in excellent condition. These pistols went to the US retail market and the manufacturers at DWM realized that nation-based crests increased sales of these Lugers, so that is why you find the American Eagle over the chamber. This is also why you see GERMANY marked on the frame, denoting these were exported for commercial sale.Mint bore.
