Description
4/24/24 – This is a near-mint example of a first variation BYF 43 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. All matching, with the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with a 1942-dated hard shell holster and two correct “Eagle 135” Mauser magazines. The gun has retained nearly all of its bluing, with just one area of very minor thinning along the top of the slide, some hints of wear on some of the high edges, and a few very light surface scratches here and there. Fitted with excellent set of reddish bakelite grips. Minty bore with strong rifling. Mechanics are excellent, and de-cocker is functional.
