7/24/23 – This is a minty example of a Remington Model 03-A3 Rifle. The serial number on the receiver dates to about July-August of 1943. The barrel is Remington marked and dated May of 1943. The left side of the stock has the proper Remington military cartouches. “P” proof on the wrist. The metal parts have retained virtually all of their finish with a few very light scuffs here and there and some light spotty oxidation on the butt plate and on the rear barrel band. Minty wood stock. Shiny bore with strong rifling.
