Description
6/22/23 – This is a minty example of a BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper “Waffen 135” military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with a nice 1944-dated soft shell holster and two “Eagle 88” marked magazines. The gun itself has retained about 97-98% of its original finish with hints of wear around the muzzle and on the front edges of the slide. There is an area of light scuffing on the left side of the slide around the ejection port. Fitted with excellent reddish bakelite grips. The bore has excellent rifling, but there is very minor pin-pricking and minor freckling throughout.
