8/18/23 – This is a near-mint example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. It is “United States Property” marked, has a cross-canon cartouche on the right side of the frame, and has the proper “FJA” inspector initials. High Standard barrel. It has retained about 98% of its original parkerized finish with just hints of wear on the high edges and a few tiny dings on the top of the slide. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with one proper magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
