Description
3/1/24 – This is a near-mint example of a Colt Match Target Woodsman from 1949. According to the included Colt Factory Letter, it was delivered to “Harper & Reynolds Corp” in LA, California on February 3, 1949. It comes with a period-correct box (not numbered), owners manual, one magazine, and its original matching-numbered test target. The gun itself has retained nearly all of its original high polish finish. There is just the slightest hint of thinning on the front strap and some tiny dots of light oxidation here and there. Fitted with period-correct marbled bakelite grips. Mint bore.
