1/10/24 – This is an excellent Smith & Wesson Model 647 revolver in its original, matching box.These were only produced for a limited time, and this is the only S&W revolver chambered in .17 Hornady Magnum.This cartridge is based on a .22 Magnum (WMR) rimfire case that is necked down to seat a 17 grain.This is a supersonic varmint round that travels over twice the speed of sound with near flat trajectory to 100 yards.The gun is in excellent condition with only minor handling wear, and a very light turn line on the cylinder.Box is labeled and serialized to this gun, and comes with the original lock/manual/paperwork.Barrel is 8 3/8in long.
