9/27/23 – This is a minty example of a Walther P5 manufactured in 1983. All matching with the proper proofs, but there is an import mark on the underside of the frame. This one is also marked “BMI” on the slide, indicating it was issued to the “Bundesministerium des Innern” or the Federal Ministry of the Interior. The “BMI” marking has a light hash mark through it. The gun comes in a period-correct box (not matching), two P5 magazines, a cleaning rod, and an owners manual. The gun itself has retained most of its original finish with hints of wear on some of the high edges. Excellent black plastic grips. Mint bore.
