8/16/24 – Here we have an end-of-war production run, near mint example of an Inglis Hi Power issuedto the Canadian and British military with SN: 9T1178 while the last one made was SN: 9T3628, makingthis the last 2450 Inglis Hi Powers ever produced. It is all matching and has the proper proofs throughout.It comes as a rig with a 1944-dated canvas holster, canvas belt, canvas magazine pouches, and twoproper JI marked magazines. The gun itself has retained nearly all of its original matte finish with just theslightest hints of high edge wear and a few very light surface scuffs here and there. Excellent blackbakelite grips. These were popular with the British airborne forces as well ascovert operations and commando groups such as the Special Operations Executive (SOE), the U.S. Officeof Strategic Services (OSS), and the British Special Air Service (SAS) Regiment.
