6/26/23 – This is a near-mint Colt Government Model 1911A1 from 1946.Gorgeous profile view with just a hint of edge wear near the muzzle.Proper matte finish along the top of the slide with polished blue elsewhere.Nearly all of the finish loss is on the grip safety, and a few minuscule surface scratches on the left side of the frame.Also a minor ding on front strap. Mint bore and excellent grips.Barrel is Colt marked with a small ‘F’ under the lug.Unmarked commercial mag.
