8/25/23 – This is a minty example of a French MAS Model 1936-51 Rifle. The M36-51, successor of the M36, saw service in the First Indochina War, Algerian War and extended into part of the Cold War. Perhaps its most unique feature is its adjustable grenade launcher front sight and assembly around the muzzle. This one is all matching and has a faint import mark on the left side of the receiver. The metal parts have retained nearly all of their parkerized finish with just some light scuffs here and there. Mint wood furniture. Mint bore.
