Description
10/30/23 – This is an excellent example of an Australian-made No1 Mk3 Lee Enfield from the Lithgow Arsenal in 1941.The rifle retains 99% of its bluing with minor edge wear on the bayonet lug, receiver, and bolt body. The rifle looks fresh from the arsenal as it is FTR marked, and comes equipped with a 10/10 stock. The stock shows no sign of being issued or even being handled and the proof marks are deep and sharp. The rifle has matching serial numbers on the bolt, receiver, and nosecap. The bore is mirror bright with very sharp rifling. The rifle also comes with a 1907 pattern bayonet and a canvas sling. The rifle has an import mark on the right side of the receiver.
