Description
8/26/25 – This is an early Austrian Steyr Pieper model 1908 pistol in all original configuration. Production started in 1909 but continued through until 1929. These pistols are an unusual blowback type with tip-down barrel. The barrel is retained with a pivoting bolt and is held by a thumb latch barrel-locking mechanism. Manufacture started in 1909 and was suspended in 1911, then resumed in 1919 and wrapped up in 1929. The finish rates about 97% with just hints of high edge wear. Beautiful fire-blue on the small parts. Comes with one magazine. Minty bore.
