5/22/23 – This is an original Walther PP designated for the Reichs Finanz Verwaltung. It is marked “R.F.V. 12975 W” on the front strap. This Nazi department was in charge of the borders as well as government financial matters – much like our own IRS and border police. This one has retained about 97-98% of its original finish with very minor muzzle wear and an area of wear at the base of the back strap. There is minor dulling of the finish on the grip straps and a couple of small dots of discoloration on the right side of the slide. Fitted with excellent period-correct black bakelite grips and comes with a wartime magazine. Mint bore.
