4/11/23 – This is an original WW2 production leather MP 40 submachine gun sling. The sling is in great overall condition with all original leather and stitching intact. The leather end of the sling is maker stamped, but the stamp is too faint to decipher. The leather has normal pliability and general softness from age, but no major issues like cracking or rips in the leather. A very nice, straightforward example. Note there’s only 2 holes on the leather end of the sling, characteristic to only MP40 slings.
