8/14/20 – This is an M1 Carbine from 1943 that was produced by National Postal Meter, which produced about 6.8% of total M1 Carbines.This one has scarce ‘U’ code receiver, indicating it was produced by Union Switch & Signal.About 60,000 of the 400,000+ carbines produced by NPM have this code.A full parts guide is included in the photos of this listing, but the rifle is in excellent condition with crisply marked NPM stock.Bore is mint and functionality is smooth.
