11/27/20 – This is a nice example of an uncommon National Postal Meter M1 Carbine from 1944.Only 6.8% of total M1 Carbine production was done by NPM.This one is original and mostly correct with NPM stock and receiver, and correct IBM barrel.It does have unmarked front sight and handguard, so could be replacements.The adjustable sight was also likely added later.Excellent finish on the metal parts and a clean, shiny bore.Stock has various dings and nicks but no cracks or chips.
