06/14/2024 – For sale is a Portuguese Contract K98k made by the Mauser factory. At the outbreak of WW2, many of these rifles would be acquired by the German military for their war effort. This rifle is in good condition overall and is nearly all matching except for the cleaning rod and rear sight slider. The rest of the rifle matches. The bore is clean and bright but gets dark at the muzzle. The bayonet does not match the rifle but matches the scabbard. There is an import mark on the bottom of the barrel. The rifle also comes with a cleaning kit in a metal tin.
