4/1/21 – This is an all matching Sauer Model 98k rifle that was issued to the German military in 1942.All numbered parts match, including trigger assembly, bolt assembly, receiver, barrel, bands, etc.The stock has been sanded so no external markings are visible any longer.It is internally numbered and mismatched to the metal.Original finish shows minor thinning and patina but great condition overall.Includes cleaning rod, sight hood and postwar sling.Bore has good rifling but some frost and freckling throughout.
