Although produced after the Vietnam War, it precisely matches the iconic Vietnam-era design featuring an olive drab nylon shell, 3/4 protective collar, two front cargo pockets, adjustable side lacing, and a zippered front with snap-over storm flap. It retains its original interior labels clearly marked with full military nomenclature and the 1989 contract date. The vest remains in near mint, barely-handled condition, with clean nylon, intact stitching, fully functional hardware, and minimal signs of age or storage. This vest represents a genuine transitional piece of late-Cold War body armor styled after the Vietnam-era standard issue.
