Description
03/27/26 – For sale is a Gewehr 98 made by Mauser Oberndorf in 1917 and used by the Ottoman Empire during WW1. The rifle finish is worn away down to bare metal. There is a grey color from patina and age. The stock is clean and in good shape overall. The handguard has a small chip on the front. The bore has strong rifling, but the surface is frosting over. It does get slightly darker at the muzzle. The rifle is mismatched. There are Ottoman numbers on the barrel shank.
