05/07/2024 – For sale is an Imperial German Mauser Model 1871/84 made in 1887 at the Amberg Arsenal. This rifle is in excellent condition overall. The receiver has patina and is no longer bright in the white. The rest of the metal parts retains its original bluing from the arsenal. The stock is in great condition with no breaks or cracks. This rifle is matching serial numbers throughout. The buttplate is well worn and there is a Unit Marking on the top of the plate. The bore is bright but gets darker towards the muzzle.
