3/24/25 – For sale is a Savage model 99 rifle made in 1951 and chambered in .300 Savage. The rifle retains a nice blued finish but the finish on the receiver has faded to a lighter color. The barrel retains a darkened blue finish but some scratches to the finish behind the rear sight. The stock and foreend are in great shape with minor handling marks. There is a scratch stemming from the bottom screw on the buttplate from a tool. The bore is very bright with strong rifling.
