08/19/2024For sale is a Springfield Krag Jorgensen Model 1898 made in 1899. The rifle is in great condition overall with the metal retaining the majority of its original bluing. There are spots of finish loss visible like on the muzzle, magazine, and barrel bands, but there are no signs of pitting or corrosion. The stock is in good condition but likely has been replaced sometime in its life as there is no inspector stamp. there is a Circle P stamp on the wrist. The bore is bright but there is pitting about 3 inches from the muzzle visible.
