12/30/24 – For sale is a Springfield Krag Jorgensen Model 1898 rifle made in 1902. The rifle is in good condition overall. The receiver has patina and old oxidation visible but no deep pitting. The barrel retains much of its dark finish The stock is in great condition with no cracks or breaks. The left side of the stock is stamped with the inspector stamp and 1902. The bore is fairly bright but there is pitting visible within the first 4 inches of the muzzle.
