7/31/25 – For sale is a Springfield Model 1863 made in 1863. The rifle is in great shape overall with the metal parts worn to a bare metal. There are many spots of freckling of old oxidation on the metal. The stock is in excellent shape with minor handling marks. No cracks or breaks to note. The action functions properly. The bore is in great shape with sharp rifling. It is slightly darkened. Letters “HC” is stamped on the left side of the stock.
