1/18/24 – This is an original leather sling for a K98 rifle. The sling comes with an original keeper that’s maker stamped and dated “Christoph Neuner Klagenfurt, 1939”. The leather has light surface wear but the original herringbone pattern is 80% remaining throughout. The leather is maker marked “dla” with a stick eagle marking, the date under the eagle cannot be made out. The buckle is marked “L&F”. There are two small area of the sling with minor surface cracks but nothing that affects its construction. See images above. Overall in great condition.
