10/22/25 – This is an original Arisaka Type 38 Carbine stock and handguard. Honest wear, dings, scuffs, and handling marks throughout. The wear pattern and color of the handguard perfectly matches the stock, leading to the conclusion that they were issued together. Some small chips and small pieces of wood missing from the stock where it inserts into the bayonet lug. The assembly is missing the pins which hold in the handguard. The lower tang, sling swivel, lower barrel band, buttplate, and front barrel band show even, dark patina throughout.
