2/8/23 – This is a nice, honest example of a desirable Springfield Armory M1 Garand from 1942.Original SA parts throughout.SA barrel that is dated to December of 1942.Original stock with fairly sharp E.McF inspector’s mark and crossed cannons cartouche, though the edges have faded over time from carrying use.The stock has numerous dings and there’s a series of indents on the underside.Op rod is uncut. Bore is generally shiny with strong rifling but there’s a little pitting near the muzzle end.Muzzle and throat erosion are both a 3.
