9/24/25 – This is a nice example of an original ZF4 rifle scope manufactured by Optikotechna in 1944. The left side of the scope is marked “Gw ZF4 dow 27622”. It is also stamped with a green triangle, which indicates it was designed and calibrated for use in warmer weather climates. Externally the scope is in very good condition, with minor handling marks throughout, a few streaks of finish loss on the outer ends where mounting rings were added or removed, high edge wear, and light surface freckling here and there. The lenses are in good shape, but the optics do show some mild cloudiness. Comes with a reproduction leather scope cover and eyecup.
