11/16/23 – This is a fairly unusual late WW2 modified P.38 holster for use with a FN M1922 pistol. This is evidenced by the magazine pouch, which has been removed from the front of the holster, and added to the side of the holster as shown. Due to these modifications, there’s extra added stitching and stitching holes on the front leather and side flap. The closure strap also looks to be re-stitched. The back leather is maker stamped, 1944 dated, and waffen military proof stamped. There’s also a Death’s Head skull embellishment added to the front leather. This appears to be original but we’re not sure.
