Description
8/28/24 – This is an excellent example of what we believe to be a late war production P.38 magazine. We suspect that this magazine was found in a factory post war and was used by a local police unit as it is numbered on the toe of the magazine. The surface of the magazine is typical for late war with rough machine markings. However, the original finish is almost all intact. Only a few areas show finish loss, which is consistent with standard use. The toe of the magazine was numbered post war, and is stamped “3489”.There are no makers marks present on the spine of the magazine. The spring in this magazine is still strong and functional.
