Description
4/10/23 – This is an original end-of-war production P.38 magazine. The magazine is stamped on the left side of the tube, P.38v with a “U” underneath for unhardened metal. There are no other markings or stamps. The tube and base on this example has a phosphate finish and has mild surface patina throughout. The lack of maker stamp and waffen proofs is characteristic of rushed production at the end of the war. This example also has a ribbed follower, which is another end of war feature. Strong, functional spring.
