8/4/23 – This is a nice example of a Peruvian-contract Mauser Model 1909 rifle, manufactured between 1910-1914. The gun is mismatched but has the proper Peruvian crest on the receiver. No import marks. The entire gun has been refinished. There is very little actual bluing loss, but there are areas of pin-pricking under the finish throughout and some small dings on the floor plate / trigger group. Minor dings and scratches on the stock throughout. Mauser banner logo on the right side of the butt stock. The bore has good rifling with just minor pin-pricking throughout.
