3/3/23 – This is an excellent example of a DWM Luger that started its life in the commercial market in the 1920’s. It is all matching and has no chamber date. It was later reworked and issued to the German police force, as evidenced by the added police sear safety. The gun comes as a rig with a very nice 1934-dated police holster, an un-marked Luger tool, and two WW2-era matching-numbered magazines (numbered at the police arsenal). The gun itself has retained about 95% of its bluing. There is some light scratchy wear on the grip straps, some discoloration on the side plate, and minor muzzle wear. Fitted with minty un-numbered wood grips – the left panel has an “S/42” armorers replacement marking. The rifling in the bore is slightly worn with minor pin-pricking throughout.
