Description
3/17/25 -This is a nice example of an early Radom VIS 35 possibly issued to the Nazi Navy during WW2. This is an early, pre-alpha variation with 3 levers and a slotted frame. York’s book on Radoms states many of the early pre-alpha examples with blued barrels and removed lanyard ring went to the Navy, and this one fits those characteristics. It is all matching and has retained roughly half of its finish. There is obvious wear throughout and areas of pin-pricking on the slide. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips. It comes as a rig with one waffen-proofed magazine, one un-marked magazine, and a nice tan leather holster with clear ink stamps on the inside (dated 1944). The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with minor pitting throughout.
