5/31/24 – This is an original 1937 production Colt M1911 barrel. This is a pre WW2 barrel that still has great finish. There is some thinning of the dull finish around the front third of the barrel as well as around the ejection port. There is a G marking underneath the barrel which indicates its a government contract barrel. The barrel is marked with ” Colt 45 Auto” on the left side as well as a P on the lug of that same side. The bore of this barrel is 7/10, clean throughout with no signs of pitting but just some scratches from use. Comes with link and pin.
