Description
9/11/25- For sale is an undated privately purchased Japanese sword. The sword is visually very similar to the Type 94 and 95 military swords of the 1930s but bears no proof, serial, or date stamps, indicating a private purchase for war service. The blade is very clean with only minor wear but no pitting or damage to the surface. Hilt is tightly wrapped with no fraying to the fabric. Crossguard is loose but still solidly attached to the rest of the sword. Scabbard is wood with leather wrapping. Leather is in very good condition, only minor wear and one or two scrapes. Strap used to tie hilt to scabbard is present but broken. Overall in very good condition.
