Description
1/12/26- For sale is a rare Nepalese Gurkha bayonet for the Brown Bess musket. These bayonets were used by Nepalese soldiers in the service of the British East India Company in the late 1700s and early 1800s, making this bayonet somewhere around 200 years old! The blade has significant patina and some rust, along with chipping to the edge of the blade. The socket is in better shape, with thatched patterning, Nepalese writing, and the East India Company logo. These bayonets are very hard to find in America and only a few were imported by IMA more than 20 years ago. Overall in fair condition.
