2/11/26 – This is a rare commercial Mauser Banner Luger from 1937. Chambered in .30 Luger. There were only ~7500 commercial banner Lugers produced by Mauser, most in the ‘v’ and ‘w’ serial blocks. This one is mostly matching, but the side plate is mismatched (numbered “69”). The gun’s finish rates roughly 80% with most of the finish loss being on the grip straps. There is also general high edge and muzzle wear. Some areas of light brown patina mostly on the side rails and grip straps. The grips are mismatched. Comes with a mismatched “Star S” police magazine. Mint bore.
